Are you in love with the sun too??? yes, i'm totally in love with it. After 4 hours of nap from a long 12 hours of flying, i stepped straight into this paradise which is not far away from home - WaveHouse, Sentosa. If you are a surfer, or just simply love to dip in the pool, bath in the sun with alcohol flowing and yummilicious pizzas and snacks, Wavehouse is the place!! The music is awesome, and the best thing is, you feel like you are somewhere not home, but phuket, krabi, malibu.... because of the great ambience, and the sunkissed hunks and babes around you. After going there once with my bffs, i fell in love with it immediately, and this time, am there with a beginner surfer, my more than 10 yrs schoolmates.

It's great to go during weekends as a short break from the concrete jungle, but it's best to go on weekdays, especially so if you like to surf!  Surfing charges are at about Sgd30 per hour, so if you are there during the weekdays with less surfers, you will get to surf more, while weekends are pack, and you have to wait for your turn. Let's get your surfboard, put on your beach wear, and start surfing at Wavehouse!!!

My day in Paris

I've told myself upteen times for this trip... NO SHOPPING... NO CHANEL... NO LV... NO BV..and for what you know... i did it!!! i'm so proud of myself! i acconpanied the crew to 5 chanel boutiques, and i ended up with no purchase!!! OMG... i m really proud of myself.. i'm a usual impulsive buyer, when i see anything that i love, i cant keep my hands off it, and i will just swipe my card without any second thoughts, and this time, i manage to have a lot of self discipline, going to 5 Chanel boutiques and ended up with no bags, tat's really rare for my case!!! my frens for years will know, i'm a geek and freak for bags n shoes, i always think that i never have enough of them!!

So this trip, i spent on food, and totally in love with the hot n dry weather in Paris, i mean, com'on, i finally feel the summer!!! It's been a really long winter this year, and i've yearned for the summer, and the cold just seems to be so persistent until april, way too long for winter and way passed spring, we skipped straight to summer, and am loving the sun and the warmth!! It's just so great to feel the warmth in paris.

I took pictures along the way to find the Chanel bags, and it's a fun day hunting for the bags that my friends love, and i did the walking for the whole day without complaining, cos it's definitely a good exercise to burn off the excess fat that i've been wanting to get rid off, and we've a nice fine dinning at St Ferdinands, my all time fav fine dinning restaurant in Paris.

It's definitely a nice trip, though i came to this trip with a very heavy mind about my schools, nonetheless, it's a pleasant trip. Paris, a place of shopping and fine dinning.

KPO chill Mono KTV Geylang Supper cum Bfast

It's been a long long time since all of us gers get to meet up together, bcos our work schedule always clashed.Totally detest that! I've been missing you all dearly. I know that i will always be in good hands and have lotsa fun with them. I wish i could have joined them a little earlier, but i have to go for class, so i met up with them at about 1030pm at KPO. KPO is quite a nice place to chill, besides finding myself doing a little shouting as the music is a bit loud. I think the outdoor smoking deck area at upstairs are nicer, and perfect for smokers who love chilling + smoking, the ambience is nice, and minus off the a tad bit loud indoor music, so you dun have to do the shouting. LOL. The chicken wing is a MUST eat in KPO, super crispy and yummy, totally addicted to it and i cant stop, eventhough i am already on a tonsilities attack, but so nice leh, dun care le lah!!! They closed at about 1am, so guess what? of cos not enough for the night, how can it be so short??? So we head on to our usual hang out - St James.

It's quite quiet on the a thursday night, not much people, which surprised me, i thought it will be somehow filled with guys who are balls-addict, but only a few of them watching the match at peppermint park. We went to Mono for some singing, it's been quite a while since we last sang our throat out and jumping and dancing in the ktv room. I totally like ktv with rooms, not the one big hall with everyone waiting for their turns to do the public singing, i think i will die on the spot, as my voice and singing is horrible!! Moreover, it makes you feel that you have total privacy and can do all the stunt you want in the room, even if your vocal is simply horrendous, or you just can follow the tune or kenot read the lyrics... who cares?! it's just me and my besties. hahaha... More snacks and boozes, after some chicken wings, this time it's the deep fried sotong balls and deep fried wanton and chilli topshell, and plus the singing from abt 2am to 5am. I'm like totally feeling the pain in my throat as i'm writing this post :s One thing that was a bit unpleasant was that china lady server actually switched off the ktv system at 450am, what the xxxx? we still got our last 2 songs leh... So my besties went talking to her to demand back our last 10 minutes. LOL.

After so much snacks, and we were actually not full loh! So, supper cum breakfast as it's like coming to 6am in the morning when we reached geylang. We had some fun going through some wrong ways bcos my 2 lady GPS onboard seemed a little unserviceable at that kind of hour after some boozes and too much singing. LOL. We went to 126 for some dimsum and we love the "zhao pai" tofu... it's so delicious. But, the staffs there were just simply stuck up, they cant really be bothered about anything at all, sadz. I was totally exhausted after the breakfast, as all of us have been up for more than or closing for 24 hours, yay! we're the energizer bunny! I forgot to bring my camera for the night, so cant upload any pics.. but my besties will do her speedy upload within these few days, cant wait to take a look at the pics, especially those taken in Mono, Elise room, loving the gothic victorian deco of the room and the big sofa bed...

BFF, no matter what, no matter how, no matter any decision you've made, or what you have decided on; you'll always have us behind you. I just want you to know, we love you. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going... i know you can make it... hang in there sister!!! hugs

Rainy morning in JB

It's 1045am in the morning, and i really seldom wake up this early on my day off, and i woke up at 830am this morning, probably i was so exhausted that i slept at 11pm last night. Just when i thought i am back to the usual hot and humid weather at home, yes, i was really hot and sunny at 830am, and now, the sky is overcast and dark, looks like some horrible thunderstorm is coming through anytime from now.

At this time, besides curdling in my bed seems like the best option to spend my day, i cant stop but thinking about my baobei. My family and i have no other alternatives besides giving her to a friend of my aunt for good, as there wont be anyone in jb home to take care of her, and my grandma is too old to handle her. we sent her off about 2 month ago, and i went visited her few weeks back, after much struggle, cos she's, still, the love of my life. At her new home, she no longer enjoy the luxury of staying indoor, as the new owner and his wife are not home most of the time, so they keep her and the other dog together outdoor. Baobei has been sleeping with us in air-con room and roaming around indoor when she was with us for the passed 7 years, i cant stop thinking how she has been coping with all the harsh weather outdoor, it hurts to think of it. She usually would curled in the corner of the sofas and look at the rain outside, and now, she has to stay at the car porch, getting some drizzles over her head.

Baobei, no matter where you are, please remember that, i love you always, and forgive me for not going to visit you frequent, you know, it takes a lot of courage to go and see you and not ending up in tears.

A New Chapter of My Life

I guess when people see the title " A New Chapter of My Life", most of them would think that, oh... is she getting married?? While the answers to most people stayed yes, for me, it's a no. My new chapter speaks that, am going to school. After hearing so many negatives feedback about how tough it is to cope and juggle between work and school, i decided that i should do it. 5 years in my job and i have achieved nothing much, besides becoming more handy and familiar with my jobscope, unlike last time where i used to be so gabra when it comes to certain workpost. So, back to my study, started my class about 2 weeks back, and i realised, after so long of not being back to school, i have seriously lost touch with everything. I am sort of like wandering through my first few classes as i totally "catch no balls" about what is the lecturer talking about. Fortunately, I have a bunch of really nice and friendly classmates who tell me that it's normal... Just go on with the class and you'll eventually get the essence of the whole thing at the last 2 or 3 class... *sweat* i think am just too gunchong....

Now, I'm dealing with assignments... Not so familiar with where and how to do search... have to slowly search here and there and up and down, to make things worse, my work schedule is kind of tight that i dont have time to go library. After struggling with a lot of searches and going through some samples, i managed to sketch a little notes and pointers on my notebook. Hopefully i can get things done by end of next week.

Thank you to some of my besties, who standby me and give me their blessings and encouragement to go back to school. Ok, time for some breakies and then back to assignment again...
