London

Yes, am in London yet again, and it's supposed to be summer, and why is the weather cool and wet? I thought London has finally been through a long cold winter, which ended sometime like april this year, and it's now july, it's supposed to be warm and sunny, but the weather is freaking gloomy, 10 minutes of sunshine and 15 minutes of rain, and self repeating the cycle again and again for the whole day. Period.

Sales is everywhere, that is something rather encouraging, i can see my favourite shops such as Bershka, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, H&M, La Senza bla bla bla... all having these BIG SALES 50% OFF signs on them. That's so cool aint it? Yes, i love shopping in London. I've been coming to London so frequent for the passed 2 years, that i am so like a resident here, which means i have an "Oyster" card, it's the public transport farecard to travel in Tube ot buses in London. I know the tube station fairly well, and bus routes, too, and picked up a bit of the English accents to be able to blend in well to the locals. And now, i have got my London SIM card by Lebara, which means i have a contact number in London. Most of my friends have them too, and since i have some relatives staying here, so i have finally made up my mind to get one, which will be easier and most importantly CHEAPER for us to contact each other. There are times that i come here as often as once every 2 weeks to once a month, and i will try to go see my cupcake and sweetie pie or they will come to central to look for me. I have never get tired of London, because of the food here, the people i miss here, despite the weather is rather gloomy though.

My sweety pie Caitlyn & my little cupcake Cheryl... they are someone who encourages me to brace through the long flying hours just to see them. We are gonna do brunch and walk in the park this saturday. Please wait patiently for Celine jie jie ok!! hehe

I have slept the whole afternoon after the long flight which arrived in London in the morning, tomorrow shall be my shopping day, am going to John Lewis at Oxford street to help my mum and sharon to get FitFlop. FitFlop footwear is biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them, and it's a trend now. Surveys shows that FitFlop sandal wearers have also reported relief from plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, chronic back pain, sciatica, osteoarthritis, RLS (restless leg syndrome), scoliosis and degenerative disc disease My mum is going to tour Italy in september, so am going to buy this for her to do her walking comfortably and healthily in Italy. We have tried out the sizes in Isetan KL last week, ya we were bad, trying the sizes and designs and noted it down, and buying it cheaper in London. Check it out

Mummy loves this, Pietra in Bronze, am going to get this for her.

and Sharon likes this, Electra in Pewter.

Am thinking should i get one too, haha. Wonder would i really wear it. But it's kinda trendy now... *contemplating*..... Shall go John Lewis to check it out, and see if there's any design that will tempt me to swipe my card for it. LOL. Not forgetting to check out Primark to see if there is any nice and cheap dresses and accesories, and shoes. OMG, shoes again.... pardon me. Ok, time to catch a bedtime movie and head to dreamland. I'm so deprived of sleep recently, must get some good and quality one this trip.

Watching FIFA final in Zurich

Octopus prediction is really "zhun" loh... Spain really win the FIFA cup. The Deutches were really depressed, they lost to the Spanish by just a little bit. I was watching and cheering in Zurich, in my hotel room with my dearie Jeslyn, over homecook porridge with canned food from home *heartwarming*... and since it's the final, it's a celebration, how can there be no alcohol when it comes to celebration.

our favourite canned food... yumzzz

Simple yet sumptous meal with drinks....
Dinner before the match starts....

I didnt watch any of the other matches of FIFA 2010, i guess i was kinda busy, and besides that, am really not a big fans of ball games. But i think i should at least watch the final, and usually final is interesting and exciting. Congratulation to the Spanish, it was indeed a tough fight, the Deutches did very well too, and it's a rough game with so many yellow cards. Faint.

The next day, we went to the much anticipated Mount Titlis and Lucern. I've been there like 5 years back when i first visited the Swiss, but my harddisk crashed, and i lost all the photos back then. So i think it'll be great to re-visit again and take some nice pictures. The trip was rather draggy and tiring, instead of having one bus for each different tour, i guess because it's a monday, and not many tourist, so they combined all the tours together and dropped off tourist to each mountain one at a time. Mount Titlis is the last dropped off, and we actually spent like 3-4 hours in the bus, besides visiting the Lion Monument and Lecern along the way, to reach our destination - Mount Titlis. Jeslyn and i were so tired when we arrived there, fed-up with the stupid arrangement, that made us go Mount Rigis to drop an old couple, then dropped the Mount Pilatus, then us, it's a total waste of time. Nonetheless, we manage to get some really nice pictures, despite that we all look damn shagged in the picture.

Taking 3 different types of cable car to go up to Mount Ttilis...

Visiting the Glacier

The Skyflyer

The scenic but super lousy service retaurant at the peak. Disappointed.

Finally, end of the day... Tiring... But i managed to get some nice photos this time. Next time to Zurich, i want to go Picnic at Rheinfall with my favourite lychee champagne ;)

The KL trip

It's been quite a while since i last came to KL, so here i'm again in KL to visit my family and friends. Especially my batch girl Priscilla and her adorable boy, Maestri, and the getting married in september Feechin. It's been 6 years that we've known each other and still counting, though some of us are no longer in the sky, yet we still keep in touch and visit each other whenever we are free. Looking back on the day that we all met each other in singapore, for the first time after the interview, running around manpower and immigration to do our passes, get settled down and going through orientation and training... it felt like it was yesterday or a year ago where all these happened. But it's been 6 years, and Priscilla got married, got pregnant, got a son now, and my buddy Feechin is getting married in 2 months time too. I'm so happy for them, who have found their happiness beyond the sky, and happily on ground now.

The 3 batch girls together with the adorable Maestri...

the cutie pie giving me a kiss... meltzz...

Congratulation to Feechin, see you on September on your wedding day, I will try to make it no matter how, and Pris & Maestri, take care til jie jie see you again soon. Hugs & Kisses.

Bangkok

It's the time of the year for my annual ritual - B A N G K O K !!!
I visit bangkok every year without fail, it's like a getaway for me, a short and sweet indulge in shopping, food, massage, night market & drinks... This is my 4th year to bangkok, first year with my sis, Shirley, the past 2 years with my ex, and now, with my bunch of dearies for 10 years, and still counting....

Even though we all know that Bangkok had recently been through some sad and unhappy moments, but i've to tell you all, it's definately safe and stable to visit there now! The warm and friendly thais cant wait to see us back there again, and what's more, Bangkok is having Great Sale to welcome tourists around the world!! Well, that's the reason why am there, cheap hotels, cheap shopping, cheap massage, cheap food and nice , warm and friendly people. I love bangkok!!!

My bunch of 10 years dearies and 1, were supposed to take a lot a lot of pictures, but we ended up busy tucking in the delicious food, and digging out cards and money for our shopping, we only manage to take a few pictures when we are away from all the sinful shoppings and food. And yes, am trying so hard to slim down before the trip, so i wont gain too much, yet, my pants and skirts are feeling so much tighter now, shucks!

At the budget terminal, yes, we go budget, we take tiger which only cost us abt 200 for return...

ok, the seats are rather small n squeezy
