B809

It's been 6 years, some of us parted on the 2nd year, some of us left on the 5th year, some of us still stay in it. The distance, the seasons, the busy work and life never do bring us apart, in fact, it has brought us closer than before. I love you girls.
Taken at the beautiful garden restaurant at The Curve.

The beautifully decorated restaurant....
The salads and soups... yum yum

the delicious calamari rings

Pink rose and Apple lemon tea

Jeryl | FeeChin | Me | Priscilla
enjoying the food...

we have spent like a whole day in The Curve, eating chatting shopping and eating chatting again. We feel like we are back to the good old days, in the training school, where we laugh over food and drinks, and gossips and jokes. But now, we have more to talk, from husband, to children, to in-laws, to work and life... and more to laugh about. And we are still the same big eater like what we used to do....
yes, we have like 14 plates of red and 1 plate of pink sushi in sakae... all by 4 of us!!!

and i guess the four of us ate like probably 2-3 tubs of their ginger...

and uncountable amount of salmon...
That's how good we are!!! After finishing all these, we still have ice creams, jellies and pancakes as dessert. hahaha... i've never been so happy and eating so much for such a long long time. Batch gers, it's all so great to meet up, though we still short of 2 pretties - Cassandra and Tina. Though we only meet up once in a long long time, but those bonds and special feelings that we have for each other, have never change since day one til now. Those were the memorable days, and definitely some very important and precious memories of our lives. Til we next meet up, please take good care of yourself! Feechin, waiting for your Good News OK!!!

Tomato's Birthday

My dearest sister's birthday!!! I won't disclose how young she's this year, definitely young and beautiful!!! We had a great time feasting away with seafood and sang our heart out at RedBox KTV.

Happy Birthday SiewLing aka Tomato

The night has all started with some nice seafood dinner at Megah Ria, as the birthday girl has been craving for crabbies, especially cooked in black pepper for week, and where else to get some better ambience to feast seafood, than besides the cool sea breeze kelong-style restaurant,  recommended by YinYin that TKK restaurant is good, so here we are.

Driven in a Merc by our rich birthday ger...

The 2 pretties just sit back and relax, and cam-whoring all the way.... LOL

Juz nice to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunset...

Beautifully lights...

Ok... big fat juicy crab...
U wait... am gonna eat u!!! heh heh
Black pepper...

Chilli crab... yum yum
And the crispy, chewy, buttery and sweet sotong... best dish of the night... *drool*
And a toast to the birthday ger!!! cheers ;)
After some sumptous dinner, we proceed to our long awaited KTV session. Yay, we all love to sing, especially when there're only us, and just us, u know, no need to paiseh cos we have known each other for 10 years. And we don't really care weather we have nice or "pig-slaughtering" vocal, we just sing... LOL
Ok, alvin got bored, as yinyin and i were busy singing, and tomato busy going through the lists of songs... :P

Trying to take some "mood" photos with my a bit "kenot-make-it" camera...
Sing and sing and sing....

The cutsie cupcakes for the birthday ger... *applause*
She loves them so much that she cant bare to eat them.... Blowing the candle for another year of youth, health, wealth, happiness and good luck!!!
The 10 years of friendship and still counting...
Happy Birthday my dearest sister!!! May all your wishes come true, and stay happy, pretty always... Luv you deep deep... hugs & kisses

Mid-Autumn in London

It's my first time celebrating Mid-Autumn/Mooncake festival in London. Something a little different than the usual, such as the weather; it's t-shirt and shorts while you are playing latterns in the park back home, but it's usually cooling in London during this period of time, so we were wearing warm clothings while carrying our latterns in the garden. I went over to Lilian & Jayson's place in the evening, just nice for some dinner, before we start our lattern playing with Caitlyn & Cheryl. We went to this Italian restaurant in High barnet, Al Fresco; a very nice ambience restaurant filled with the aromatic scents of pizzas and garlic bread, which made me really hungry. I ordered the Spagetthi Vongole, just as tasty as i thought it would be, yummy.
Yum yum with lotsa clamps....

Poor Cheryl looking at us feasting...

After the dinner, we proceed straight home, and started with our lattern playing at the small garden behind the house. It's a cooling night, and Caitlyn was totally excited about playing latterns and she's been anticipating this moment for the whole day.

The dark garden has been lighted with latterns...

Caitlyn with her lattern, and Cheryl is trying to reach for the lattern...

The little one happy with the lattern

The tea light candles and the lattern

Caitlyn showing her "moo-moo cow" lattern...

The latterns on the trees...

Me having so much fun... and a very special mid-autumn in London... thanks to Lilian & Jayson and their 2 little cutiepies - Caitlyn & Cheryl...

Found two books that i really love and bought them at Waterstone's

Though i have assignments and exams to deal with, but reading has always been a very big part of me since the school days. I just feel that something somewhere somewhat is wrong if i don't have something to read before i sleep or when am doing my "business".. hahaha. I may take like months to finish a book, and bring it all around the world, but i always know that, it is my best companion, through my ups and downs, and the sleepless nights, it cheers me up sometimes especially after a tough long day, it relaxes and relieves me from the stress from work and life.

A book is also a very good companion when you are travelling alone. I have 2 slots of leave in end september and beginning of october. Thinking of going somewhere to relax my mind by myself, since i cant find anyone to accompany me. Thinking of doing somewhere nearby, probably Bali, Phuket, Krabi... just go there and stay 2 nights, read a book, slump in the bed, nap under the tree, with my musics. Still contemplating.

My stay-in food in London,

Blackberries | Yeo Valley's Greek Style Yogurt | M&S Strawberry scones

I love Yeo Valley's greek style yogurt, am a super big fan for greek style yogurt = honey + yogurt, and i'll add in my favourite blackberries to boast up the anti-oxidant of it, yummy. I can eat 2 tubs of it in a day sometimes. LOL. Marks & Spencer strawberry scones are my all time favourite too, but i've cut down a lot on it, as it's sinfully sweet & creamy. As you age, you should really watch out on what you are eating, it's never been easy to loose the amount that you eat just like you do 5 years back. So much so for all the sweet tooth and buffets, i just have to cut down on those nowadays to keep my BMI within the range.

September in London always bring back lots of sentiments. The first day that i took up this career, my first stop is London on september 2004. It's my first autumn in London, and eversince then, i realised that i'll be in London every september, which is the beginning of autumn. Autumn has always been my favourite season of the 4, i think it's the kinda sunny and yet gloomy feel of it, that's very much resembles me, that gives my a special feeling and devotion to this season. This is my 6 autumns in London, and still hoping for more to come. Preparing for home tomorrow morning, getting ready to brace the hot and humid again... :S

For the past 2 weeks....

It's been a long long 2 weeks for me, so many things to do, so many things happened, birthday parties, busy with work (yes when my schedule got lousy, i got busy), so many changes.... and am so freaking exhausted, that's y i've not been updating my blog.... sorry -_-

June's daughter 1st birthday and the party after...
04 Sep, rushing back from jakarta to sin to jb, my flt from jakarta got delayed, haiz... what's new! and it's a full flight, as most indonesian loves shopping and spending their weekends in the not-so-far-away Singapore. By the time i reached Changi airport, it's aredi closing 3pm, and am rushing back to home to get showered and pick up my stuffs and leave for JB. Tell you, the traffic is still as horrendous as ever during this festive season, the causeway at woodlands is totally congested, and i deemed it unuseable, cos i know am gonna stucked there for 3 hours from what i've experienced just last weekend.  So, i've chosen to take the tuas checkpoint, it's so smooth and clear, i was so happy to be paying more $$$ but at least i dont get to stuck in the queue and feeling annoyed and irritated; then i realised it's an early celebration. For what you know, Singapore ICQ is so effecient that's why there wasnt any queue at all, but as you approached the other side, the Malaysia ICQ, i almost wana faint!!!! The queue was long loh!!! Once again, so much for efficiency during the festive month... oh well...

I only get 5 minutes to pee and my friend came to pick me up to June's house. Her girl, Rosalbelle is so cute and adorable, but she got a bit cranky and stuck onto June the whole day because too many people wana carry her, and the hot and humid weather is making her sweat. Well, understandable, so many people touching her, pinching her rossy cheeks, holding her hands and talking to her, i mean i would have got irritated too. So i din manage to take a picture with her. But i do have a pic of these cutsie...

Happy 1 Year Old Rosalbelle

After that, what else better to do on a Saturday nite in JB? Alvin and I went over to Bar Banyan for a bottle of Sparkling wine, my fav - Martini Asti. And we hop onto another club to meet my best frens and we had more Martini Asti. Happy!!!!

Simply loving it. :)

The uncouth for comment from him...
The drinking and party was great with my bunch of bestfrens after June's daughter birthday, and we really drink quite a bit, and i was really tipsy. Met some long old time frens at the club, and we have taken some pictures together. The pictures were posted of FB, nowadays people are so efficient, they post pics almost immediately after the party, while for me, i procrastinate til i got nag by my frens about the pics, then i'll try to find them to post them. :P The next day, i received a surprising text from my ex which has made me blown my top. I have never got so pissed for a very long time. The way he phrase his words and sentences, are as if i've slept with those guys that i've taken picture wif. Yes, i put my arms around them to take pictures, but that doesnt mean that I'm wanton. Judging me with that few pictures, just simply dont do any justice to me. Moreover, we have both parted for more than a year, because we are just simply not compatible. Yes, i party hard, and i work hard and study hard too. So, stop asking me when am i going to stop all these party nonsense. That's me, take it or leave it. Get a life pls!!!!

Muthu's Curry House
OK, i got a "unlucky' fren of mine, who doesnt get to fly to India anymore misses some north indian cuisine, and we went to the Muthu's Curry house for some long craved Garlic Naan.

Muthu's Curry House, it's never enough!

The banana leave lined plates...

Nice ambience, not some mamak concept

Crispy but oily papadam, sinfully tasty

The garlic naan, small compare to the one we used to eat in Dubai, and the butter chicken...

Lamb chop with spices and the cauliflower.. yummy
Happily tucking in...
We got so filled up with the garlic naan, we had 1 piece each. I still prefer the butter chicken and garlic naan from middle east, such as the silver eagle retaurant in dubai, and the canopy restaurant in abudhabi. The lampchop taste good too, think it'll be better without the gravy, or perhaps i just prefer dry dry type of lambchop :P. The cauliflower is the nicest among the rest to me, i love it. Maybe we can try out some other indian cuisine restaurant along the same stretch, to find some better butter chicken and garlic naan. hehe..

My exam results...
I got my exam result in my mailbox yesterday:

Clinical Health Psychology - B
Employee Assesment and Leadership Development  - C

Grade :
A - Distinction 80% & above
B - Credit 70-79%
C - Good 60-69%
D - Pass 50-59%

Ok la, am quite happy with my result. Hope i can do better this term. Jiayou!!! heee

The Mooncake Fever..
Mid autumn / Mooncake festival is around the corner, and how can someone missed the once in a year mooncake feast??? As usual, the durian mooncake is something that everyone is going after, and i'm a sucker for durian mooncake too. LOL. I found my favourite durian mooncake at the takashimaya B2 Mooncake fair... tah dah

Home's favourtie, my love....

My favourite on the left, Black Gold MaoShanWang Durian Mooncake... heavenly tasty!!!!

The pricelist, my fav black gold oni come in a box of 4 cost $68, they dun sell seperately, how am i going to finish all 4??? Still, i will go and get it next week. LOL

The other one that i like best - Goodwood park

the assorted flavour in a box, Cempedak, D24 Durian, Apple Caramel & Mango with Pomelo, so lovely, and this will be a gift to London... Lilian and Jayson, it's for you!!!

I have bought another box of 2 D24 durian from Goodwood Park, it's simply delicious. Thinking should i bring it back to KL for my parents... haha

The New Look
I've been having my long hair for about 2 years, and it's been dropping a lot due to constant tie-up and washing and hairspray. So i've decided to give it a break and .....

Got it short!!!

Gimme some advice on my new look... I actually felt so weird looking into mirror wif my short bob, and the dark colors... LOL but am quite happy with the short hair :)

ok... too much for this entry. see ya :)
