Xmas shopping is LOVE

Finally got some time to play SantaRina... I got my hands full of shopping bags (gifts for all my dearies) and a big wide grin on my face looking at them... It's all about gifts exchange... N most importantly, celebration of joy and bliss and sharing of love to everyone I heartz!

Takashimaya is so crowded... And we r so hungry joining the queue for Tampopo ramen... My fav... *slurps*
I m finally feeling the Christmas mood in sin... Jingle bell... Jingle bell... Jingle all the way... Though it's gonna be a warm and humid Xmas, nonetheless, I feel extreme bless n bliss... Cos god and love are always with me...

Snowy Milan

It's been 2 years since i last stepped into Milan... omg... time really flies... and Milan has always been one of my favourite city for it's fashion and design... and this time round, it's so cold. Reaching here in a super freezing morning of -7 degrees, and highest in the day is about 0 degrees, i m totally chilled. It's nice once in a while to be chilled, as singapore is like so hot and humid, i can stand hot... i can faint!

In the land of the Italians, how can you not have pizza and pastas???

Yummy isn't it?? That's our first night feast... havent been so "italian" for such a long long time... and Vongole and Carbonara have always been my favourite pasta...

What other best things to do in Milan?? Shopping of cos... Prada, Miu Miu & LV are definitely not expensive here... and how can i miss this oppurtunity to buy myself X'mas present?? (ya, excuse to spend money again, period!) So we head to the Duomo the next day to grab our shoppings *GrinZ*

* Happy * wif a * BIG BIG GRinZ *

On Friday, it started snowing... my first snow for 2010, finally i have the feeling that christmas is around the corner, and it's a white christmas... I'm so delighted and over-joyful to see the snow at the airport. God is answering my prayer, it snows. After so many years that i've never experienced "snowing", most of the time it's life aredi after-snow le and the snow on the floor was grey and dirty, but this time, i finally see it snowing. i feel so bliss... :)

All the aircrafts cover with snow...

Outside the airport... snowing...

It's all white...

and cold....

finally nearing the hotel, and still snowing...

walking in the snow to get lunch...

the snow beauties...

i got my name on your car... hehe

God has coloured Milan white for me...

I hope it will still snow tomorrow when i leave milan, let me enjoy myself for one more day in the cold freezing weather, before am heading back to my tropical climate. It's a very joyous and fulfilling trip, again, i'm in the hands of great companies... *bliss and contented*

Bukit Tinggi

A lot of my friends have been to Bukit Tinggi, which is next to Genting highland, and mentioned that the French Colonial Village there is very scenic, so i suggested that we went there cos i have never been there before. It's quite nice, and actually not cooling at all, not as cool as Genting at least. The building is very french style, but nothing much there leh... and we have to pay RM12 per person to enter there... seriously, it's not so worth it... but, since am there... i have taken some pics... so let the pics tell u...

well... as you can see... really nothing much loh... kinda disappointed... waste of money and time... pls dun go... if u really think it's gonna be fun and greaqt or relaxing n such.... haiz...

The roadtrip continues to Penang for their Char Kwey Tiao...

Ok... We left for Penang after Hatyai, for something they are very famous for - Char Kwey Tiao. And we actually got a very famous stall along lorong selamat, and we have waited for the Char Kwey Tiao, fried by these wearing red hat aunty, using charcoal, and the queue is like... 1 hour wait.... omg... i was freaking hungry and almost faint when my dad told me about that. Since we were aready there, and since the crowd is like flowing in non-stop, with plenty of tourist and locals... we decided to wait...

Looking for : Char Kwey Tiao
Venue: a coffee shop along Lorong Selamat, Penang
Waiting time : 60 minutes
Price : RM7 ( very ex )

ok... as u can see from the pics, the portion is really kinda small, and it's like RM7.. very expensive in my point of view, and still it's very crowded. How does it taste? Does it really worth the wait and the price? Seriously, it's not bad la... but if you wan me to associate it with super duper fantastic, erm... not really to the superb side, but worth trying... it's hard to find char kwey tiao fried by charcoal these days, and it really taste different when it's fired by charcoal...

We took the ferry to the Penang Island, before the day it becomes history...

Joining the others at the deck

My lovely folks

It's a short stay in Penang, and the weather is rainy :( Nonetheless, i managed to filled my tummy with all the yummy food - chee cheong fun, char kwey tiao, prawn noodle, assam laksa, rojak, loh bak... omg... sometimes i wonder how i did it too... but.. heck care about slimming and cholestrol.. i just love to eat...

Penang, til i see you again...
