I am born to eat, at least this is what i believe so, i pamper and enjoy myself with good food, nice wine and great friends, and where else is better to wine and dine than Paris? Je' taime Paris. If you think australia's oysters are nice, then you have never tried the french oysters. French oyster is much more flavourful than the australian ones, and have a very heavy taste of the sea water, much more on the heavy palate side, u know, the very sea watery and seafoody taste, which made me fall in love with it few years back when i first tried them in Paris.
Can wait to put all of them in my tummy...
How can you not love them???
The wonderful combi of burgundy snails and some beef tenderloin....yum yum....
We end the night with a few bottle of wines and some nice chats... i miss you all guys leh.... The next day, instead of a simple brunch, we ended up walking in the drizzle for 15 minutes to champs elysee, for one of the most worth it brunch i ever had in Paris. It's an italian restaurant just opposite the LV boutique of Champs Elysee, and seriously i cant recall it's name anymore... argh! They serve some very nice and thinly slice, fresh and nicely chilled - Caparcio; both in beef and salmon, and it's so freaking yummilicious!!!
Free flow of beef.....
or salmon caparcio at one flat rate... eat all you can... isnt this heavenly??!!!
Besides having unlimited carparcio, they have some really good set menu from 13-30 euros, ranging from 2 courses; either starter & maincourse or maincourse & dessert, or all 3 courses together. So Andy ordered the unlimited carparcio and we all try to dig into his share, while Joyce, Kim & I ordered some other dishes from the set menu, it's all so worthwhile and delicious, seriously worth the walk in the cold and wet.
The starters
Chicken Caeser
Assorted cold cuts
Prawn and Spinach Salad
The Main Course
My pasta with Foie Gras... *love*
Kim's Pasta with Escalope of Pork
Joyce's Grilled Seafood
And as usual, we ended with something sweet and heartwarming....
Joyce, Kim, Andy & Ernest, thank you so much, for making this Paris a fun one! Lurve you guys!
