It's a Road Trip!! Hatyai

Yes, straight after am back from Paris, i flew back to KL to start my long awaited leave to go on this road trip with my family!! We drove to Hatyai, a city of Thailand which lies between the border of Thailand and Malaysia. My family used to do this road trip when i was a tiny weeny kid, and my dad loves driving so much, he enjoys the pleasure of holding the wheels and bringing us around Malaysia. Eversince we grew up, leave school holidays always clash and such, it's been a long long time that i have been on a vacation with my family, i totally anticipated this trip!!

Blue sky | Sunny day | Me | enjoying the ride | with favourite music

The distance of KL - Hatyai is about 500 km, it took us abt 7 hours plus to reach there, with some detours of lunch and tea breaks along the way, and yah, i was like sleeping most of the time... :P

Our first nite dinner, they sell good and fresh seafood!!

Ok... what shall we eat??

Seafood fried rice...

The crab dumpling...

Such a big fresh fish

Mummy happily tucking in...

Daddy is so hungry tooo

WHile the 2 sister cam whoring...

Our all time favourite, mango with sticky rice... * bliss*

And we were there in conjunction of the Don Bosco day, and the children doing parade to commemorate him....

In conclusion, Hatyai is all about relax, eat, shop and massage, and the massage is so cheap, two hours only cost like SGD30 or so for whole body. Food is good, the roadside stalls are overwhelming with all the local delicacies, like birdnest, traditional kuihs, chestnuts and fresh fruit... I was really busy eating and buying and eating, n ended with very little photos again... hmmmzzz....
